Letter to the Telegraph

In a recent article in the Daily Telegraph it was mentioned that Gordon Brown had refused to meet the French President, Nicolas Sarkozy, after Mr. Sarkozy had boasted that a new European Commissioner would take over the City of London.

Perhaps it is time that we had new leadership in the United Kingdom such as Lord Pearson of UKIP who would have sent home Mr. Sarkozy, the head of the European Mafia, after meeting him and telling him where to go, and standing up for the British people. The City of London belongs to us!

Letter to the Gazette

Dear Sir/Madam,

Re: Dane Valley By-Election

I am a member of UKIP and did consider entering the Dane Valley By-Election on behalf of UKIP. However I think it is far more important that the independent vote is not split between candidates. Therefore, I urge all residents to vote for Wendy Allen, an independent candidate, on Thursday, 3rd December.

It is vital for the welfare of Thanet and its people that we break the hold the Tory and Labour parties have. These major parties have failed this country and do not deserve re-election.

Yours faithfully,

T Cooper
UKIP Member

Easter Break

Thursday 9th April 2009 to Tuesday 14th April 2009.
The office will be open as usual from Wednesday 15th April 2009.

A Letter to Nigel

Nigel Farage
UK Independence Party
08th January 2009

Dear Nigel

I often wonder what to put on the UKIP Thanet Website and have decided to pass on some of my thoughts on economic policy especially since Labour has allowed this country of ours to fall in to such disarray. (read more…)

Newsletter – May 2008

1. At the hustings meeting held in our King Street office on the 28th. April, George Jones stepped down as Chairman due to ill health and Trevor Shonk was elected by the committee to assume the Chairmanship as from mid February.

As a result, a new committee was voted in with ‘business as usual’ being resumed and members elected were:
Trevor Shonk - Chairman
Jean Wisker - Hon. Secretary
Peter Condie - Office Manager
Ann Condie - Office Care & Events
George Jones, Alan Bown, Trevor Cooper, Roz Parker, Richard Warner
and John Poole

2. The most disturbing aspect on the political scene is that no later than 2010 will be the
disintegration of our geographical area and losing its English status by becoming a fully
integrated part of the Trans Manche Region of the EU. This will be a very sad
period for anyone who considers themselves as being ‘English’ as this will not be
allowed by our new masters.
From then on, England will be progressively subdivided into other Regions of the EU
whereby the name England will disappear and everything we know as English with
it.

3. At the hustings meeting held on the 28th of April, Trevor Shonk was chosen to be the
the UKIP parliamentary candidate for Thanet South, if you can, please try to convince
your friends to vote for him because with we already have an MEP (Member of the
European Parliament) in the form of the UKIP leader Nigel Farage, what greater strength could we have in Thanet with representation in the London and Brussels parliaments.
Trevor Shonk was born in Ramsgate, is a member of the Ramsgate Society and his work
takes him all over Kent so he knows the local problems.

4. Have you noticed a lack of any anti-EU information on the BBC lately with UKIP, the
Anti-War movement and the Green Party especially being stifled. The BBC’s charter
was drawn up to prevent such things and even Media Lens, the UK based media watch
project, thinks the BBC has breached its Charter. They think the whole media functions
as a propaganda system for elite interests and even John Pilger, the well known writer and
journalist says independent minded journalists get refused BBC posts. Jack De Manio is
supposed to have been sacked because of his Euroscepticism.
UKIP has tried to get Scotland Yard involved in an enquiry on the BBC but as soon as they

produce evidence of any unusual practices, such as the payment of sums of money to some
top management members of the BBC which has large head quarters in Brussels, such
information falls on deaf ears.

5. UKIP will be putting up a strong field of candidates for the 2010 parliamentary elections
and we will do everything possible to make sure that our candidates will have every chance
of succeeding, as will, the rest of the UK branches. Our Branch office would welcome you
and your friends anytime for a chat and a cuppa, think about it!!
In fact, on the evening of Thursday 29th May we are holding a discussion evening when members and friends are warmly invited to talk on any subject they wish and it will also serve as a ‘getting to know you’ opportunity. This discussion evening will be held at the UKIP office, 158 King Street, Ramsgate (near the intersection with Boundary Road) and
tea/coffee will be available to wet the whistles, starting at 7.00 p.m. up until 10.00 p.m.

Political Parties: As sent to the Kent on Sunday paper

So often people say, “forget politics” perhaps the following will help to enlighten them.

Lab1

Looking at the Labour Party, it’s hard to believe that it originally started out with a Christian mission - to be the voice of the poor and down trodden worker (read more…)
