Although almost 80% of the EU fishing zone was originally UK territorial waters the British quota is now only 20% of a shrinking stock of fish resources. Our fishing industry has been almost wiped out. The CFP has also created an ecological disaster as millions of tons of over quota fish are thrown back into the sea, dead.
UKIP will re-establish control over UK territorial waters allowing fish resources and are fishing industry to recover.
