To Thanet and UKIP Members

Happy New Year to all of Thanet I hope you all had a good Christmas and that the New Year has started well! That is probably true for most of us but we at UKIP Thanet do spare a thought for George our chairman who suffered a stroke and his wife Sheila. I visited George in Hospital and he was in good spirits, get well soon mate!
Well 2008 has started and what has UKIP Thanet done lately. Well if you’ve been reading the papers you will frequently see Trevor Shonk fighting for Ramsgate and recently Margate too. We have also held a couple of debates to interact with the people in Thanet. It is hoped to have a debate on “Engaging the Youth” and I will be writing personally to many teenagers. In March we should be having our AGM so members please think seriously about being involved, come to the meeting and ensure that we are hearing you.
Finally to all, keep fighting for Thanet, England, and Britain and hope 2008 is a good and prosperous New Year for you and UKIP.
