I had intended promoting our UKIP rally on the 19th April 2007 at the Marina Resort Hotel but as I am waiting for details of speakers I will just say come along.

One person who intends to speak is me but as I will only get a short spell to address the public I will attempt to précis some of the areas I care about.

Litter Cliftonville is a mess and if I get in I hope to join the cleaning team and dustman and try and tidy our ward. The public will need to help too. Lets bag up the rubbish up that’s sitting in many house fronts and the council will dispose of it.
Let the council remove the entire old sofa’s from our neighbourhood.

Housing There are too many empty properties in Cliftonville that could be worked on. Thanet has plenty of; plumbers; electricians plasterers and builders. The construction industry is an area we can satisfy so let them be employed. The labour party have put in effort here in trying to force landlords to sort out their properties I hope I can work with them on this issue and discover the problems they have faced.

Facilities for kids I’ve already mentioned on this Web site Dane Park. I would also like to make Cliftonville the centre for Parkour in Kent. The craze is growing and I’m dedicated in providing them suitable facilities.

My wife often accuses me of going on too long so I will stop there and invite comment. If you are in Cliftonville or anywhere in Thanet I am on your side help me understand the problems we are facing and help me get solutions.
