views from Croydon

UKIP Croydon first wish to express their sympathy and regrets for those who experienced damage and loss as a result of the riots.

The London and Croydon Riots of August 2011 have not come from nowhere. There are 3 Basic Reasons why these riots have occurred:

Legislation.

Weak and ineffective legal policies supported by the Human Rights Act which does more to protect criminals than the public.

Social cohesion

Lack of social cohesion brought about by the multicultural society and the encouragement of groups to maintain their own culture whilst living in this country. It is noticeable that the original incident which sparked off the riots was the result of an alien gang and drugs culture.

Employment policy.

Lack of jobs particularly in manufacturing for young males.

What should be done?

The above are a result of dangerous and damaging government policies over the last few decades. But what can now be done to reverse the above? Will any Labour or Conservative or Liberal Democrat government take the required actions?

The following are essential:

Enable the judiciary to punish offenders adequately. Consider bringing back the death penalty for the worst crimes. Enable the extradition of foreign born offenders when they have completed their sentences.

Improve social cohesion by placing an immediate bar on further immigration. Insist that all residents of this country who wish to remain achieve a reasonable standard of English.

Rebuild manufacturing by preventing unfair competition particularly from South East Asia, removing excessive bureaucratic restrictions and other measures such as reducing energy costs by scrapping damaging and ineffective â???greenâ???
? legislation.

Do Lib-Lab-Con have the will or ability to do the above?

Now ask yourself whether Labour or Conservative or the Liberal Democrats. will do any of these.

The answer is an emphatic NO.

It is doubtful whether Labour, Conservative or Liberal Democrats have the will to do this.

Equally significantly they are not LEGALLY able to carry out the above whilst they are restricted by EU legislation. They cannot repeal the criminals’ charter known as the Human Rights Act because we are committed to this via the EU Lisbon Treaty. They cannot control immigration because we are committed to an open borders policy via the same treaty. They are restricted in the extent to which we can regenerate manufacturing because the imposition of EU legislation increases bureaucratic costs and all trade agreements are under the control of the EU Commission.
